Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the man that is the greatest love God as bestowed on me! I always knew you would be a great dad but, the miracle that you have become to me and our daughter was beyond my dreams! You are the most amazing man. you are so selfless and giving to us as your family. You ALWAYS put our needs first. Our daughter has become an amazing little girl under your love and guidance. You have taught her patience I never have, a faith in God so strong that I always struggle with, and selflessness that I take for granted much too often! Thank you for becoming the father I always dreamed for and never had but, wished my daughter would know. God has blessed us and continues to bless us with your love! We will love you forever.

Saturday in the Park

My work volunteered today to help out with the Human Race. It is a 10k run, 5k run/walk to help out The Learning Center here in town that help children with disabilities and Autism. If we volunteer for 3 hours Kohl's donates $500. Carmen got to come along and help. She was great! We pulled tags off the runners as they came across the finish line; to keep their standings in order. Carmen was going right up to all the runners cheering them on and pulling off their tags. What a great experience for her!

They had a balloon man, Elmo(he used to work with Grampy), and they had teams with animals. There were llamas, goats, rabbits, dogs, a ferret, and a pony pulling a wagon. Carmen throughly enjoyed herself. And, I was so proud to be able to teach her about helping others.

Back in the saddle again......

We just got a new camera! yeah. Now I can get back to posting again.

First I wanted to post Carmen's pre-school picture. Can you believe it! Her first school picture! Wow! It happened so fast! But, I am so proud of her and so encouraged at how much she loves school. She misses it already and asks all the time when does she get to go back. Let's hope that continues......

Almost forgot......

It has been so long since I blogged that I almost forgot I had a blog. We broke our camera and I have been so busy these last months that I have forgotten to blog. Alot has been going on and to try to explain or catch up would be crazy so.....we shall go from here and try to fill in the gaps where possible.
I will start blogging again real soon.

Christmas Day

I have so much to say about the day that I just decided to not say it all and keep it really short. I just want to say how truly blessed we are to be allowed to join in so much love, and joy. Carmen has defined joy for me in a way I never knew before. She loved Christmas this year so much and enjoyed everything she got to do and gifts she gave and received.
