Faith

And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him. And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.
Matthew 4:19-21

The date has been set, Aug. 28th I will walk away from what I have done for a living for over 20 years. I have been called to go a different direction.  Faith it’s black and white to me, either I trust him or I don’t. I know what I have heard from my God, it is clear to me. I thank God every day that he has made it as clear to me as he has. Now it is time to go. The doors keep opening and we will continue to walk through them. Now all this doesn’t mean that we don’t have moments of pure terror with thoughts racing through our minds like “what are we thinking” or a real common thought of “are we really doing this”? He equips us in more ways than I ever imagined. He gave me a wife and a daughter who at moments when I am frozen and scared to take another step forward: they are there to encourage and pray with me. On the other side of that when they are frozen and scared I am there to encourage and pray with them. Yes, we have moments of panic and these are the moments our faith is being tested. Do I trust him or not. Yes I trust him, I will go where he wants me to go.
