Gone Fishin'

Today was opening day of fishing. We went down to a friend's house who lives below us on the lake. The girls had such a good time. Carmen loved the fish and caught her limit. Can't you just hear the Andy griffith theme song whistling?

One, Two......THREE!

Carmen is now 3! My how time flies when your having fun! It is so hard to belivev that it has been three years. It seems like yesterday but, I forget what life was like before she came along. The party was so fun! And it is so cool to see how all the kids have grown. We have pretty great group of kids that we play with allot and so it is fun to watch them grow and change. The kids are all excited for each other when it is their turn for a party..

Introducing the new Carmen....

Wednesday Carmen decided to cut her hair!!! All that pretty long blond hair is now gone! She cut a sizable amount off the right side . We had our neighbor Mrs. Nora who always trims her bangs and hair even it all up. It is really cute and I do love it but, I had a rough time getting over the loss of the hair. I loved being able to put her hair up with bows. Now she really looks like a little girl and I can't pretend she is my baby anymore. But, seriously, isn't she adorable!

Teaching Myself

Carmen has been doing alot of new things lately. She potty trained herself! And she just taught herself to ride her trike. She is getting to be even more independent. The other day she took it upon herself to go to the potty in Sears. She ran off form Nana & I and went into the Men's bathroom to go potty! Nana found her in there flushing the toilet. We had to have a little lesson on the different bathrooms. It was kinda funny and really scary at the same time. It is so hard to be firm when you are laughing!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went over to a friends house and did and Easter egg Hunt. They had allot of fun. We also went to a hunt out where Carmen's Grampy used to work and there was a man there doing balloon animals. It was such an good time. My aunt Janet was here visiting for the week and it was really special to be able to have her there for the egg hunt at Bill's work.
